As workers, we know our working conditions and what we need best. That's why we launched our economic survey of the members on July 1st, 2026.

Our union makes decisions democratically. The first step in the process to writing our economic demands is to survey the workers and figure out what we need not just to survive but to thrive. We deserve it.

The economic survey will close in mid-August 2026.  After reviewing our union's responses to the survey, our Bargaining Committee will turn our priorities into a set of articles which make up our economic platform. The Bargaining Committee will then present that platform at a Members' Meeting, where we'll have the opportunity to amend, improve, and finally, vote on it. Then it's time to negotiate.
